Accepting new patients

Start with your registration details.

Halsey’s family doctors are accepting new patients for ongoing primary care. Providing these details helps the clinic prepare for an efficient, personalized first visit.

Registration does not guarantee immediate attachment to a specific physician. The clinic will confirm next steps with you.

Prepare for your visit

A little preparation helps your clinician help you.

Bring the information that gives the clearest picture of your current health, medications and priorities.

  • Valid identification and your OHIP or insurance card
  • A current list of medications, vitamins and allergies
  • Relevant test results, medical records or referral letters
  • Any forms that need to be assessed or completed
  • A short list of your symptoms, questions and care priorities

Appointment policy

Respectful timing keeps access fair for everyone.

If you need to change a visit, contact the clinic as early as possible so the appointment can be offered to another patient.

  1. 01Bring a valid OHIP card to every insured visit.
  2. 02Arriving more than 10 minutes late may require rescheduling.
  3. 03Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment.
  4. 04A $50 fee may apply to no-shows and same-day cancellations.
  5. 05Repeated no-shows may result in limited booking privileges.
  6. 06When a time is full, ask to join the waitlist for the next opening.
  7. 07Walk-ins are welcome and seen according to clinician availability.
