What to expect

We use Medavie Blue Cross for refugee patient coverage through the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP). Please bring your RPCD — Refugee Protection Claimant Document — so the clinic can verify your eligibility and coverage for your visit.

Appointment policy

Plan ahead for your visit.

  • Bring your Refugee Protection Claimant Document (RPCD) or current IFHP eligibility document.
  • Arriving more than 10 minutes late may require rescheduling.
  • Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment.
  • A $50 fee may apply to no-shows and same-day cancellations.
  • Repeated no-shows may result in limited booking privileges.
  • When a time is full, ask to join the waitlist for the next opening.
  • Walk-in clinic patients are seen according to clinician availability.
